Types Of Yoga

Casa Shred
Casa Shred is a cross-training combination of yoga and HIIT (high intensity interval training) created by fitness and yoga expert, Sadie Nardini. You'll experience a full body, cardio workout that takes vinyasa yoga as a starting point. This low impact workout is kind to your body but with amazing results. Usually this would be taught in a class setting but 1-2-1’s are also available.
Casa Tanga
Casa Tanga takes the well known Ashtanga yoga style which is often very fast and can be overwhelming for students, and slows the sequences down. This allows the student time to make the most of each movement in a controlled way and at the same time be conscious of the inhale and exhale of the breath. Resulting in a more grounded embodied experience.
Casa Hatha
Casa Hatha is a combination of asanas (postures) designed to align and calm the body, mind and spirit. Traditionally used in preparation for meditation.
Casa Vinyasa
Casa Vinyasa is a sequence of postures put together so that they flow smoothly from one to the other whilst integrating the breath into the movements
Casa Yin
Casa Yin is a series of long-held passive postures centred around the hips, pelvis, lower spine and thighs. Poses are held for up to 20 breaths enabling the student to surrender into the pose. This results in a deeper sense of the body, a stronger release of the muscles, connective tissue and fascia which allows tension to dissipate and energy to flow. Most of these asanas are on the floor so there is a strong feeling of being grounded and connection to the earth.
Casa yoga for Sport and Athletes
Casa Yoga for Sport and Athletes - sports yoga is whole-body flexibility and functional movement training. It’s inspired by yoga, but adapted for sport, the purpose is to help you move freely, fluidly & efficiently. Increasing performance whilst helping to minimise injuries. Individual plans will be devised for groups or on a 1-2-1 basis dependant upon the chosen sport or activity performed. Available from Sept 2020
