***STRESS, ANXIETY, GUT HEALTH AND WEIGHT MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP***

Chronic Stress and Anxiety can have a detrimental effect on gut health. This in turn negatively affects mental health in a feedback loop; as mental health affects the gut and an unhealthy gut affects mental health.
The Gut-Brain Axis is very important to overall well-being as well as playing a huge part in weight management. If you are trying to lose weight/reduce fat, you will be fighting a losing battle if you are stressed/anxious.
It is important to prevent low level stress and anxiety from becoming chronic and to implement good habits and self-care practices to ensure health and long-term well-being.
In this workshop, you will learn the science behind the Gut-Brain Axis and how this affects overall well-being as well as how reducing stress, anxiety and improving gut health can naturally reduce weight and body fat composition.
The Yoga practice will be one for relieving stress, detoxifying and beneficial for the digestive system. Movement around the torso to massage and get fresh blood and nutrients to the internal organs and intestines.
The last half hour will be Yoga Nidra, this will take you on a beautiful journey to a place of peace and relaxation.
There will be time for a cuppa and a chat afterwards with some tasty nibbles as well.

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of the session and bring water, a mat, blankets, pillows and anything else you feel will keep you warm and comfortable.
